India’s Ranking in Various Indexes
Rankings in Various Indexes are calculated through a lot of research and different areas are taken into account while creating an Index. Different organizations from an array of fields which include international organizations like the United Nations, World Economic Forum, International Monetary Fund, and others Analyzing the ranking of India on the Indexes gives one an idea which country stands where in terms of different areas. Here, we would be looking at how India fared alongside other countries in the world on various Indexes. This topic is important for preparing the General Awareness section of the Competitive exams. The Report states that the Global Economy is set to contract by 3%. IMF estimates project that India is expected to grow at a rate of 1.9& in 2020, while in 2021 estimates suggest that India is expected to grow at a rate of 7.4%.
